PATRONAGE
The Michigan Classic Ballet Company’s vision is
to produce superior ballet productions, educate
the community about the performing arts, build
strong ties with business and education, and
participate in national and regional dance
festivals.

SCHOLARSHIPS
To build this vision, each season MCBC offers
scholarships to talented students, as well as
admittance into the Professional Training
Scholarship Division (PTSD) to those students
who want to continue ballet as a profession.  The
strength of the Michigan Classic Ballet Company
lies in our ability to attract dancers of the highest
caliber, and we must continue this tradition if we
are to keep MCBC what it is today.
Unfortunately, the cost is great.

When you make a tax-deductible contribution to
our Sponsor a Dancer Scholarship Fund, you
help train talented dancers who will delight future
audiences here at home and around the
country.  As we continue this program with your
help, we hope to accomplish even greater
results.

OUTREACH
Each year, MCBC presents "Nutcracker
Knowledge,” an educational program including a
modified performance of the “Nutcracker Ballet”
designed especially for students.  This FREE
program educates children on the history of the
Nutcracker, classical ballet, and provides an
enriching and interactive experience.  In addition
to the Nutcracker programs, we have developed
a similar program for Swan Lake and have laid
plans for future programs featuring other
children's story ballets.
