NUTCRACKER KNOWLEDGE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM Designed especially for 3rd through 8th grade classes, Nutcracker Knowledge is an educational program that includes an abridged performance of the Nutcracker Ballet. This FREE program educates children on the history of the Nutcracker, classical ballet, and provides an enriching, and interactive theatre experience. At the performance, a lecturer helps students maximize the educational experience of attending a live-theater event. Students have the opportunity to participate in creative movement demonstrations where they will experience different actions within ballet and dance. A curriculum guide is also available to participating schools containing materials for teachers to use with the students before and after attending the performance.
