Olga Pavlova and Yevgeni Anfinogenov will return to
MCBC to guest star in 20th Anniversary production of
The Nutcracker

Guest artists Olga Pavlova and Yevgeni Anfinogenov perform in
MCBC's production of Swan Lake in 2008
Olga Pavlova, born in Moscow,
Russia, graduated from the
Moscow Academic School, the
official school of the prestigious
Bolshoi Ballet. She holds a Master
degree in Teaching and
Choreography from the Moscow
Academy of Professional Arts. Olga
won the Gold Medal and First Prize
at the Maya Plisetskaya Second
International Ballet Competition in
St. Petersburg, and the diploma at
the Rudolf Nureyev Second IBC
Competition in Budapest. During
her career, Olga toured to over
thirty countries with Yuri
Grigorovich and Maya Plisetskaya,
and her extensive repertoire
includes principal roles in over
fifty-four ballets. She was named
DFW Metroplex Critics Choice Best
Ballerina in 2007 and 2008. Olga is
married to fellow dancer, Yevgeni
Anfinogenov, she is also a principal
with the Moscow Classical Ballet
Company in Moscow.
Yevgeni Anfinogenov, was born
in Moscow, Russia in 1981. In
1992, he was accepted into the
Perm State Ballet Academy. He
graduated in 1999, and joined the
Russian Chamber Ballet Theater
"Moskva". Later, he joined the
Moscow City Ballet of
Smirnov-Golovanov. He was also a
member of the Russian National
Theatre. He has danced many
leading roles in Russian classical
ballets, has performed in many
gala presentations as well as
full-length ballets, and he has
toured extensively in many
countries.
MCBC's 20th Anniversary of
The Nutcracker Ballet
Bloomfield Hills, MI - The Michigan Classic Ballet Company (MCBC), will
perform the full-length “The Nutcracker Ballet” at Mercy High School in
Farmington Hills, Michigan. This will be the 20th Anniversary performance
for the non-profit ballet company.

When:
December 5, 2009, performances at 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
December 6, 2009, Nutcracker Tea at 1:30 PM.
December 6, 2009, performance at 3:00 PM.

Tickets:
$20.00 Adult, $15.00 Seniors/Children (to age 12).
